Please read the following to learn more about our Privacy Policy ("this Policy"). This Policy applies to MRF websites, products, and services that display or provide links to this Policy. This Policy describes how MRF processes your personal data, but it may not address all possible data processing scenarios. MRF may inform you of product- or service-specific data collection through supplementary policies or notices provided before collection.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

As required by Alberta's Employee Safety Office (ESO), the data we collect consists of some or all of the following;

Names, Email addresses, Postal addresses, Phone numbers, emergency contact information, and your supervisor contacts.

When users use the safety timer system, we collect the 10-code, timestamps, 

When users use the support tickets system on the MRF Web Map, we collect the data shown in the support ticket form, the user's IP address, and the browser user agent string to help determine the issue.

Cookies

If you log in to any MRF Web Platform or mobile applications, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you use the services or functions. These cookies may last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last until your session ends. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

We do ensure your data is kept confidentially and securely.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

ESO will use the data you input on this website. We do not provide your data to any other 3rd parties.
